October 2018 marks the 10th anniversary of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (the "CRPD Committee"). A report released last week celebrates work of the Committee over the last 10 years that highlights the essential role it plays in implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The report provides further information on the Committee's contribution to the implementation of the Convention. It also analyses the topics addressed by the Committee, such as inclusive education, access to justice and health.
